Reporting a result that looks wrong
These are the most useful messages to send, and the ones most likely to change the code. To make a report actionable, include:
- What the tool reported, and what you expected instead
- What an independent tool showed at the same moment, if you compared
- Your browser and device, and whether you were on mobile data or Wi-Fi
- Whether a VPN was connected, and whether it was an app or a browser extension
Please remove your real IP address from screenshots before sending. It is exactly the kind of detail these tools exist to warn people about.
Other reasons to write
- A bug, a broken page, or something that does not work on your device
- A tool you wish existed
- Questions about privacy, or a request about data — though note that we hold no visitor data to retrieve or delete
- Press, or anything about reusing this work
Response times
This is a small independent project, not a company with a support desk. Replies are usually within a few days. Bug reports get read first.
